MMI Health Centers

medial ministry trips

MMI wants to see increased access to quality health care services for those in need and increased local ownership for these services in the communities we serve.

MMI health centers are strategically located in areas of need to facilitate access to quality health care for those who live there.  The MMI business model is to help the health centers to be self-supporting and locations are determined through assessment by in-country staff and project teams that work in the community to determine the level of care needed.  The Health Centers have Independent Boards of Directors that also includes MMI representation and have oversight of local administrators, doctors, and staff to ensure compliance with local legal requirements.  The Boards and Health Centers must adhere to the MMI Standards of Operation in order to be affiliated and receive support from MMI.  MMI provides technical and logistical support and represents the services of the facility to the international community.  MMI Project Teams are used to support local Health Center efforts by providing specialized services or training to increase healthcare availability desperately needed at the community level.

We help the community, help themselves.  We work to train medical professionals, and the staff that supports them.  We also use our teams to help try and prevent the diseases we face throughout the community with our Agriculture, Water & Sanitation Teams, etc.
