Refund / Cancellation Policy
The Refund Policy pertains to donations made towards project participation fees. It is as follows:
Your application deposit is non-refundable unless the entire project is cancelled by MMI. In the event of participant cancellation, the deposit may be transferred only once to another project within one year of receipt of deposit. With more than 45 days notice: Your donation for the participation fee, less the application deposit of $100 US, will be held on file for your next project within three years and may be refunded upon request in the same tax year. Cancellation less than 44 days and more than 31 days will result in 50% forfeiture for the existing project plus the $100 Application Fee. With less than 30 days notice: Your fees are non-refundable as monies have been sent into the field for participation and deposits. Compassionate consideration may be given due to illness or a death in the family.
Please not that monies raised for Project Participation can be applied to approved and IRS eligible expenses for said project. Excess monies remaining after one month from completion of said project, less submitted approved expenses, will become donations to the general ministry.
